A former presidential aspirant under the Accord Party has stated that the political crises in his state existed long before Governor Ademola Adeleke assumed office. Speaking in an interview, he emphasized that the unrest is not new and that blaming the current administration for all issues is misleading.

He further explained that political tensions and conflicts have been a recurring feature in the state, predating Adeleke’s leadership. According to him, multiple administrations before Adeleke faced similar challenges, and it is important to consider the historical context when evaluating current events.

The former aspirant also urged political stakeholders to focus on constructive dialogue and collaboration rather than attributing all problems to the sitting governor. He stressed that sustainable solutions require cooperation among parties and leaders at all levels.

He concluded by calling on citizens to engage actively in democratic processes, emphasizing that informed participation and accountability are key to resolving longstanding political issues in the state.
