FCT doctors hail Wike on demands implementation, engage IDPs

Doctors in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have praised the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, for responding to their long-standing demands. According to the medical practitioners, the implementation of these requests has improved their working conditions and boosted morale across hospitals within the territory. They noted that the move shows Wike’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services in Abuja.

The doctors explained that many of their challenges had remained unresolved for years, but Wike’s intervention brought renewed hope. They highlighted better welfare, improved facilities, and faster administrative responses as some of the positive changes now being felt in the sector. The leadership of the association thanked the minister for listening to their concerns and acting promptly.

Beyond their professional demands, the doctors also extended humanitarian support to internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the FCT. They visited IDP camps to provide free medical consultations, basic treatments, and health education. The outreach was part of their effort to give back to underserved communities and promote public health.

The medical team pledged to continue working closely with the FCT administration to improve healthcare delivery. They also encouraged other stakeholders to support IDPs, noting that collaboration can make a big difference in the wellbeing of displaced families. The doctors reaffirmed their commitment to serving Abuja residents with dedication and compassion.
