The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of being the biggest threat to Nigeria’s democracy. The party claims that APC’s political maneuvers are undermining democratic principles and weakening governance in the country.
According to ADC officials, recent defections, manipulations of party structures, and partisan policies have destabilized the political landscape. They warn that if unchecked, APC’s actions could erode public trust in democratic institutions.
The opposition party urged citizens to remain vigilant and actively participate in the democratic process. ADC stressed that strengthening democracy requires holding political parties accountable and promoting transparency in governance.
ADC called on civil society groups, the media, and international partners to monitor Nigeria’s political developments closely. They emphasized that safeguarding democracy is a shared responsibility that cannot be ignored.
