Accord Party chieftain, Hon. Maxwell Mgbudem, has been re-elected as the National Secretary of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC). His re-election followed a nationwide vote by party representatives, confirming their confidence in his leadership and contribution to strengthening Nigeria’s multi-party system. Members described him as consistent, experienced, and committed to fairness among political parties.

During the announcement, IPAC leaders praised Mgbudem for promoting unity and dialogue among political actors. They noted that under his previous tenure, the council recorded improved collaboration and peaceful political engagements. His return, they said, will help sustain the progress already made and open new opportunities for better cooperation.

Mgbudem expressed gratitude to all the parties for trusting him again. He promised to work harder and ensure that IPAC remains a platform where every political party—big or small—is heard. He stressed the need for peaceful elections, transparency, and stronger democratic institutions across the country.

With his re-election, political observers believe IPAC will continue to play a key role in stabilising the political environment. Many stakeholders are hopeful that his leadership will encourage parties to work together in addressing national challenges, promoting inclusive democracy, and strengthening governance.
