Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar (Musa), has assured citizens that the days of innocent people being killed by violent groups are coming to an end. He said the government has increased military operations across troubled areas and is now seeing strong results. According to him, security forces are working day and night to protect lives and restore peace.
Musa explained that the military has launched several coordinated attacks against bandits, terrorists, and other criminal groups. These operations, he said, are not only stopping the violence but also breaking the networks of those responsible. He emphasised that the government will not allow criminals to continue terrorising Nigerians.
He added that President Bola Tinubu has made security a top priority, and this is already showing positive progress. The Defence Minister noted that new equipment, better intelligence gathering, and stronger cooperation among security agencies are helping to reduce attacks in many regions.
Musa called on Nigerians to support the armed forces by sharing useful information and standing united. He said the government remains committed to ensuring that the shedding of innocent blood becomes a thing of the past, promising that peace and safety will be fully restored.
