Terrorists targeting prominent Nigerians, end insecurity before April – Primate Ayodele to Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele has raised fresh concerns about the growing insecurity across Nigeria, warning that terrorists are beginning to target influential citizens. According to him, the threat level is rising, and the country may see more dangerous attacks if urgent steps are not taken.

The cleric urged President Bola Tinubu to act swiftly and decisively, stressing that the government must restore peace and security before April. He warned that failure to do so could expose top politicians, business leaders, and national figures to severe risks.

Ayodele also called for stronger intelligence gathering and better coordination among security agencies. He noted that Nigeria’s current security structure needs improvement, especially in monitoring terror groups and preventing future attacks.

He encouraged the authorities to listen to early warnings and avoid ignoring signs of danger. Many Nigerians agree that security reforms are needed now more than ever, hoping that the federal government will take decisive steps to protect lives and prevent attacks on notable individuals.
