President Bola Tinubu has announced the nomination of Reno Omokri, Femi Fani-Kayode, and 30 other Nigerians as ambassadors, highlighting their contributions to the nation and their potential to represent Nigeria globally. The nominations aim to strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic presence and promote the country’s interests abroad.
The selected nominees come from diverse backgrounds, including politics, business, and activism, reflecting Tinubu’s approach to inclusive representation in diplomatic appointments. The President emphasized that these ambassadors will help foster bilateral relations and attract investment opportunities for Nigeria.
Officials stated that the nominees will undergo the standard vetting and approval process before assuming their duties. Once confirmed, they are expected to champion Nigeria’s image and collaborate with international partners on key economic, cultural, and political initiatives.
