Popular comedian and skit maker, Sabinus, has revealed that his father once regretted paying for his university education because he chose comedy as a career. According to him, his dad initially believed that pursuing skit making was a waste of his academic training. He explained that his father expected him to get a traditional job after school, possibly in a corporate setting. However, choosing content creation instead made his father feel disappointed. His achievements, awards, and growing popularity made his father realise that talent-based careers can also be rewarding. He added that the support eventually helped him push harder in the industry.

Sabinus encouraged young people to stay focused on their dreams, even when their families don’t initially support their choices.
