Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has met with President Bola Tinubu to discuss the rescue of the schoolgirls recently kidnapped in the state. The governor explained that the visit was to update the president and seek stronger federal support as security agencies continue the search. He stressed that the safety of the girls remains the government’s top priority.

Governor Idris said President Tinubu assured him that the federal government is fully committed to helping Kebbi State bring the students back safely. He noted that the president has directed security forces to intensify operations in the affected areas.
