Banditry: Gov Yusuf urges Kano residents to remain calm

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has appealed to residents of the state to stay calm following recent concerns about rising banditry in the region. He assured the public that the government is actively working with security agencies to tackle threats and keep communities safe.

The governor explained that security operatives have already increased surveillance and strengthened patrols in vulnerable areas. He noted that these measures are part of a bigger plan to stop criminal elements from causing fear or disrupting daily activities in the state.

Gov Yusuf urged residents to cooperate with security officials by reporting suspicious movements or strange activities. He emphasized that community support plays a major role in defeating bandits and ensuring lasting peace.
