UCL: Sanchez snubs Barcelona, names favourites to win trophy

Former Arsenal and Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez has spoken about the ongoing UEFA Champions League season, revealing that he does not see Barcelona as likely winners. Despite his history with the Spanish giants, Sanchez said the current squad still lacks the strength needed to dominate Europe.

Speaking in a recent interview, Sanchez noted that the Champions League demands consistency, sharp finishing, and strong team chemistry. According to him, Barcelona is rebuilding and may not yet have the power to challenge clubs with deeper squads and stronger momentum.

When asked who he believes can lift the trophy, Sanchez pointed to teams with fast-paced attacks and top-quality midfield balance. Although he did not name Barcelona, he highlighted clubs such as Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich as strong contenders because of their form, experience, and winning mentality.

Fans have reacted differently to his comments, with some agreeing that Barcelona needs more time, while others feel Sanchez should still back his former club. Regardless, his opinion adds more excitement to the UCL debate as top clubs battle for the biggest trophy in European football.
