Senator Orji Kalu has revealed that he has been working tirelessly to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Kalu said he has been engaging with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure that due process is followed, while seeking a peaceful resolution to the ongoing legal and political issues surrounding Kanu’s detention.
According to Kalu, his efforts are focused on promoting dialogue and understanding between the government and Kanu’s supporters. He emphasised that his goal is to find a solution that respects the rule of law and addresses concerns raised by all parties involved. Kalu described the process as delicate but necessary for national unity and peace.
