The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State has firmly stated that Dino Melaye is not a member of their party. The clarification came after Melaye reportedly made comments suggesting a link with the ADC. The party leadership quickly responded, saying he has no affiliation with them at any level.
According to the party, Melaye’s name is not in their register, nor has he taken part in any of their activities in Kogi. ADC leaders explained that they felt the need to address the matter publicly to avoid confusion among supporters. They stressed that membership issues should always be clear and transparent.
The Kogi ADC also warned politicians to stop using the party’s name to gain attention or create political drama. They explained that such actions mislead the public and damage the party’s image. The leadership insisted that they are focused on building a strong and honest political structure.
The party concluded that anyone claiming to be a member must follow due process and register officially. They urged the public to ignore false claims and rely only on verified information. The ADC said it remains committed to integrity and openness as it prepares for future political activities.
