Comedian Basketmouth has expressed disappointment over the recent public clash between online personality VeryDarkMan and entertainer Mr Jollof. According to him, the heated exchange, which played out across social media, was unnecessary and damaging to the image of the entertainment industry. He described the situation as “embarrassing,” noting that public figures should handle disagreements with more maturity.

Basketmouth stressed that entertainers have a responsibility to set better examples, especially because many young people look up to them. He urged both men to step back, reflect, and avoid dragging personal issues into the public space where they turn into online drama.

He added that constant online fights only distract from meaningful conversations and make the industry look chaotic. Basketmouth appealed for calm and encouraged entertainers to resolve conflicts privately rather than fueling social media controversies.
