Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has strongly condemned the recent attacks on a school in Kebbi State and the killings in Zamfara, describing the incidents as tragic and unacceptable. He warned that Nigeria cannot continue on a path of recurring violence and insecurity.
Atiku urged the government to take immediate and decisive action to protect citizens, especially students and communities in the North-West region. He emphasized that attacks on schools and innocent civilians are a threat to national development and the future of the country.
The former VP also called on security agencies to investigate the attacks thoroughly and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice. He stressed that Nigerians must be able to live, learn, and work without fear of violence.
Atiku concluded by appealing to all Nigerians to unite against violence, urging both the government and communities to work together to restore peace, security, and stability across the nation.
