Lawmakers under the banner of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) have dismissed reports that they are planning to abandon the party. They reaffirmed their commitment to the Kwankwasiya movement and their loyalty to the party’s leadership.
The NNPP legislators described the rumours as baseless and politically motivated. Speaking during a press briefing, a senior party member said, “We are fully committed to the principles of the NNPP and the Kwankwasiya movement. Our focus remains on serving our constituents and supporting the party’s agenda.”
The lawmakers emphasized that unity within the NNPP is crucial for sustaining its political growth and achieving its objectives ahead of upcoming elections. They urged the public and media to disregard any false reports aimed at creating confusion or division within the party.
“We have no intention of leaving the NNPP. Our loyalty to the party and the Kwankwasiya movement remains unshaken. We encourage party members to remain steadfast and work together for our collective progress,” the statement added.
