Police hiding my father’s autopsy result – Ondo ex-guber candidate, Akingboye’s son cries out

The son of a former Ondo State gubernatorial candidate, Akingboye, has raised concerns that the police are withholding the autopsy results of his late father. According to him, the delay is creating suspicion and emotional distress for the family.

Speaking to journalists, he accused law enforcement agencies of not being transparent and called for the immediate release of the autopsy report. “We deserve to know the circumstances surrounding my father’s death. The police must stop hiding the autopsy results,” he said.

The family expressed frustration over what they described as “unnecessary secrecy” surrounding the investigation. They urged the state government and relevant authorities to intervene and ensure justice is served.

Lawyers representing the family have hinted at the possibility of legal action if the autopsy results are not promptly released. They stressed that transparency is vital to maintaining public trust in the police and the justice system.

The police have yet to comment publicly on the allegations, but the family’s demand highlights growing calls for accountability and timely communication from law enforcement in sensitive cases.
