NUPRC announces date for fresh oil bloc licensing auction in Nigeria

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has announced the date for a fresh licensing auction of oil blocs in Nigeria. The auction aims to attract investors and boost exploration and production activities across the country’s petroleum sector.

According to NUPRC, the new auction date has been set following adjustments to ensure transparency and fairness in the bidding process. The initiative is expected to encourage domestic and international investors to participate and contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth through the oil and gas industry.

NUPRC emphasized that the upcoming auction would comply with all regulatory standards and safeguard Nigeria’s natural resources. Interested companies are encouraged to prepare their bids and meet the necessary requirements before the deadline.

The fresh licensing auction represents a key step in reviving Nigeria’s upstream oil sector and improving the country’s energy landscape.
