Anambra guber: Residents’ lives haven’t mattered under Gov Soludo – AA candidate

The Action Alliance (AA) governorship candidate in Anambra State has criticised Governor Chukwuma Soludo, claiming that the lives and welfare of residents have not been valued under his administration. Speaking during his campaign, the AA candidate argued that insecurity, poor infrastructure, and economic struggles have continued to affect the people without proper intervention from the state government. He insisted that leadership must place citizens at the centre of governance, but according to him, this has not been the case in Anambra recently.

He further explained that the rising cases of violence and criminal attacks in some parts of the state show a clear failure in security management. According to him, many families have been left in pain and fear due to killings and kidnappings, yet the government has not provided strong solutions. He stressed that a government must protect the people first before anything else, and any administration that fails in this duty has lost its legitimacy.

The AA candidate also criticised the current state of infrastructure, stating that several communities are struggling with bad roads, limited water supply, and poor public services. He noted that citizens had high expectations when Soludo assumed office, but those expectations have turned into disappointment. He promised that, if elected, his administration would prioritise grassroots development and community empowerment.

He accused Soludo’s government of focusing too much on political talk rather than practical results. He added that many ordinary citizens feel abandoned and unheard, despite contributing to the development of the state. The candidate urged residents to support a new direction and choose leaders who genuinely care about their safety and well-being.

As the election draws closer, the AA candidate called on voters to consider their future and support a government that will put the people first. He promised to restore hope, improve security, develop infrastructure, and ensure that every citizen benefits from government policies. He encouraged Anambra residents to participate fully in the election and vote wisely for true change.
