Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile has expressed frustration over the growing economic hardship in the country, accusing the Federal Government of failing to ease the suffering of citizens. The music star shared his thoughts during a recent discussion, saying many Nigerians are struggling to survive while leaders appear unconcerned. According to him, the increasing cost of living, food prices, and lack of support have pushed more people into poverty.
Zlatan noted that Nigerians are working hard daily yet cannot meet basic needs due to rising inflation. He questioned why the government has not come up with meaningful solutions to relieve citizens’ pain. The artist stressed that despite promises made by leaders, the reality on the ground continues to worsen. He pointed out that ordinary people are bearing the biggest burden while leaders live comfortably.
He also highlighted that many young people are feeling hopeless because of unemployment and the lack of opportunities. Zlatan explained that talented youths are leaving Nigeria in search of better lives abroad, as they believe the system does not support growth. He warned that the continuous loss of young talents will hurt the nation’s future if no action is taken.
The singer called on the government to urgently focus on policies that will improve the economy and create relief programs for struggling families. He said the government must show true concern and work towards real solutions instead of making speeches and excuses. Zlatan stressed that Nigerians deserve better living conditions and should not be left to suffer without help.
Zlatan’s remarks have sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians agreeing with him and sharing their personal struggles. Some praised him for speaking out, saying public figures should not remain silent during difficult times. Others urged the government to listen to the voice of the people and take immediate steps to address the hardship in the country.
