APC north-west urges Zamfara members to settle disputes internally

The All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West Zone has appealed to its members in Zamfara State to avoid making their disagreements public and instead settle them through the party’s internal systems. The call came amid growing concerns about factional disputes within the state chapter.

In a statement released by the Zonal Publicity Secretary, Musa Mailafiya Mada, the APC reminded members that conflicts are part of any political family but should be addressed with maturity. Mada stressed that the party’s official channels — through state, zonal, or national offices — remain the right platforms for complaints and reconciliation.

“The APC is one big family. It is normal to disagree sometimes, but we must handle such issues responsibly and through proper party procedures,” Mada said. He advised members to stop taking their grievances to the media, warning that public confrontations only create division and weaken the party’s unity.

Mada also urged senior party figures in Zamfara to help mediate ongoing disputes and foster peace. He said the zone is committed to maintaining fairness, discipline, and dialogue in resolving all issues within the party.

The statement further praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, describing it as a model of unity and progress. The North-West leadership called on all APC members in Zamfara and beyond to close ranks, strengthen cooperation, and work together to advance the party’s success in the region.
