Turkish football commentator Veli Yigit has tipped Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to have his best-ever season at Galatasaray, saying the forward has reached an exceptional level of form and focus.
Yigit, speaking to Habersarikirmizi, noted that Osimhen has entered what he described as his “updated prime mode,” predicting that fans and analysts alike will recognize this as his greatest season so far. “When the season is over, everyone will probably say, ‘This was Osimhen’s best season yet,’” he said.
Osimhen, who impressed last term by scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 games, broke Mario Jardel’s long-standing record at Galatasaray. However, Yigit believes that performance was just a glimpse of what the Nigerian star is capable of delivering this season.
He praised Osimhen’s mental toughness and physical strength, emphasizing that the striker is now even more determined to help his club achieve international success. “He’s mentally very focused, physically very strong, and completely focused on helping his club succeed internationally,” Yigit added.
Beyond his club duties, Osimhen is also keeping an eye on his international commitments with the Super Eagles of Nigeria, making his current form even more significant. So far, the 25-year-old has scored five goals in eight appearances across all competitions this season, underlining his growing dominance.
