Also included are dependable players like Ashleigh Plumptre, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Oluwatosin Demehin, as Madugu aims to maintain team balance and strength across all positions.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the first leg of the qualifier will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Stade Kegue in Lome, while the return leg will be held at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

The aggregate winner over the two legs will qualify for the 2026 WAFCON finals, which will be hosted by Morocco in March 2026. The tournament will also double as the African qualification series for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, set to be hosted by Brazil.

Fans are hopeful that the Super Falcons will continue their strong form and secure qualification as they begin their journey toward another continental triumph and a place on the global stage.
