The Ekiti State Police Command has called on the public to assist in locating Miss Olatoye Olayemi, a 38-year-old woman who has been declared missing. According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday, ANIPR, on Wednesday, Olatoye was last seen on March 15, 2025, after she left her residence on Odode Street, Ilogbo, Ido-Ekiti, without informing anyone of her destination.
Family members and friends have reportedly made several attempts to trace her whereabouts, but all efforts so far have been unsuccessful. The police described Olatoye as light-skinned, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, without tribal marks, and fluent in Yoruba language. The Command said the disappearance has caused great concern to her family and urged the public to help in the search.
SP Abutu confirmed that the Command has launched an investigation to locate the missing woman. He encouraged anyone with useful information that could lead to finding her to visit the nearest police station or call +234 906 405 0086.
He further appealed to media organizations and members of the public to share the information widely across communities and social media platforms to aid in the search and ensure Olatoye’s safe return.
The police reassured residents that all hands are on deck to uncover her whereabouts and that anyone with credible information will be treated with confidentiality.
