Trump Says There Will Be No World War III If Leaders Act Smart

US President Donald Trump has dismissed the possibility of World War III, saying the world can avoid it through smart leadership and diplomacy. Speaking on Monday, October 13, in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, after the signing of the Gaza peace deal, Trump assured that a global war would not begin in the Middle East.

At the historic US-brokered ceasefire summit, Trump said, “There won’t be World War 3, hopefully at all — but it’s not going to start in the Middle East.” He explained that while past conflicts may have suggested such a risk, the current peace efforts have changed the course of events. “There was a time when people believed it might happen,” he said, “but it’s not going to happen. If we are smart, we will not have a World War 3.”

The US President further highlighted that the newly signed Gaza peace plan was aimed at promoting stability and humanitarian development. Trump made it clear that future support for Gaza must focus on rebuilding lives, not funding violence or terrorism. “We’ve all agreed that supporting Gaza must be done to lift up the people themselves,” he said. “We don’t want to fund anything linked to bloodshed, hatred, or terror.”

He added that the peace framework includes provisions for demilitarizing Gaza and forming a civilian police force to maintain order and safety. This, he said, will ensure the protection of civilians and prevent the return of militant activity.

Trump concluded by pledging that the United States will remain a committed partner in ensuring long-term peace in the region. “Gaza is going to be working with the United States. We’re going to make sure the Middle East is a safe and secure place — it’s one of the most important regions in the world,” he affirmed.
