Church Members Avoided Me Over Muslim-muslim Ticket – Remi Tinubu

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has shared how some members of her church distanced themselves from her during the controversy surrounding the Muslim-Muslim ticket that brought her husband, President Bola Tinubu, to power. She explained that the political choice created tension, especially among Christians, but noted that she held firmly to her faith and believed in God’s plan.

Speaking at a public event, Mrs. Tinubu said she understood the concerns of many Christians but added that her husband’s political journey was part of divine will. She stressed that she remained committed to her Christian beliefs despite being judged for supporting her husband’s ambition.

She further encouraged Nigerians to rise above religious and ethnic differences, insisting that unity and peace should come first. According to her, faith should not divide the people but serve as a source of strength for building a better nation.
