‘I Am A Monarch For All Religions, Social Classes,’ Oba Ladoja Declares

Former Oyo State Governor and traditional ruler, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has declared that his reign as monarch goes beyond religion, ethnicity, and social class. He explained that as a custodian of culture and tradition, his duty is to unite all people under his authority regardless of their faith, tribe, or background.

Oba Ladoja stressed that leadership in traditional institutions should promote peace, inclusiveness, and fairness. According to him, monarchs must serve as fathers to all, ensuring that no individual or group feels left out because of their belief or social status. He maintained that his role is to protect the interests of the entire community without bias.

The respected leader further urged Nigerians to embrace tolerance and unity, saying the country’s strength lies in diversity. He emphasized that both religion and social class should not divide people, but rather serve as opportunities to build stronger bonds of harmony and development.
