A chieftain of the ruling party, Shuaibu Ishaq, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as a bold and forward-looking leadership style. According to him, Tinubu has shown that his focus is on Nigeria’s future, even when the decisions he takes may not be politically convenient or popular in the short term. Ishaq explained that true leadership is about sacrifice, and Tinubu has proven ready to take tough steps for the sake of national growth.

Ishaq emphasized that Nigeria’s economy, security, and governance challenges require a president who will not bow to pressure or political sentiments. He noted that Tinubu’s reforms, though painful at the start, are designed to lay a stronger foundation for sustainable development. He argued that past leaders often made decisions for political survival, but Tinubu is showing a different path by prioritizing the interest of the people above politics.
