Publicize Agreements Made With Fubara -Rights Activist Tells Tinubu

A human rights activist has called on President Bola Tinubu to make public the agreements reached with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, during the recent political settlement.

The activist argued that Nigerians have a right to know the details of the peace deal since it involves governance and the future of the people of Rivers State. According to him, secrecy around such agreements could lead to mistrust and more political tension in the state.

He further noted that transparency would help reduce speculation and build confidence among citizens who are directly affected by the power tussle. “The people must not be left in the dark on issues that concern their leaders and state resources,” he stressed.

The call comes amid ongoing concerns over Rivers State’s political crisis, with many residents demanding openness from both federal and state governments.
