The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly questioned former Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, over the recent attack on his convoy.
The incident, which sparked nationwide attention, led security agencies to open an investigation to determine those behind the assault. According to sources, the DSS invited Malami for questioning to gather more details and ensure that the case is thoroughly handled.
Malami, who served as AGF and Minister of Justice under President Muhammadu Buhari, was said to have cooperated fully with investigators. Security analysts believe the DSS’s move shows the seriousness of the government in addressing rising cases of political and violent attacks across the country.
The outcome of the interrogation is expected to help uncover the motive behind the convoy attack and bring those responsible to justice.
