Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner is thinking of trying out Christantus Uche in a different role.
The Nigerian star joined the Eagles on transfer deadline day after leaving Spanish side Getafe.
Uche played his first Premier League game last weekend in the 0-0 draw against Sunderland.
He also appeared in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, helping Palace secure a win over Millwall.
The 22-year-old, who previously played for Ceuta, normally operates as an attacking midfielder. However, Glasner is looking at the possibility of moving him into the striker’s role.
“Yes, he could play there. He has the strength and ability. It’s one of the options we are looking at,” Glasner told the club’s website.
