Nigerian superstar, Davido, has spoken about a viral video showing him being hit on the head during his trip to Warri, Delta State, over the weekend.

The singer had traveled to Delta to perform at a wedding and later stopped by a popular club in the area.

As Davido was leaving the club, a video captured the moment he got hit on the head. He appeared shocked, and many social media users quickly assumed that it was a fan who struck him.

Reacting to the incident on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Davido explained that it wasn’t a fan who hit him. Instead, it was one of his security team who accidentally hit his head.

The clarification has put an end to the online claims that he was attacked by a fan in Warri.
