Nigerian singer Korede Bello has shared a thoughtful message with his fans about life’s true meaning.
In his Wellness Wednesday video, the “Godwin” hitmaker explained that while many people pray for long life, the real priority should be living well and leaving a positive mark on the world.
According to him, God or the universe doesn’t measure life by how many years we live but by how much value we add during our time on earth. He stressed that what really matters is the good we contribute while we are alive.
“It’s not just about living long,” Korede said. “Our bodies, brains, and organs are working every day to keep us alive so we can use the time to make a difference.”
He pointed out that many great people in history didn’t live long but still shaped the world. He mentioned Alexander the Great, who died at 32 after conquering much of the known world, and Jesus Christ, whose short life continues to inspire people centuries later.
Korede also encouraged fans to see wellness not as the final goal but as a tool to help them stay strong enough to give back. He advised people to focus on leaving every place and situation better than they found it.
He ended his reflection by urging everyone to share their gifts, no matter how small, reminding fans that true greatness is about contribution and not just survival.
“Happy Wellness Wednesday. Stay well, live well, and be great,” he concluded.
