A mother recently revealed what her husband did to their young son after she left him in his care for a short while.

The woman, a business owner, came home to find her 2-year-old crying with marks on his face. When she asked her 4-year-old daughter about it, the girl explained that their father hit her brother with a hanger because he was crying.

She shared her story on Facebook and asked for contacts of human rights organizations to report her husband.

Later, she posted an update with a video showing her confronting him.

In the clip, the husband told his wife that the child belongs to him, so he has the right to discipline him however he wants. He also dismissed her worries and warned her that using social media for advice could lead to problems for her.

The incident has caused public outrage online, though some people have expressed sympathy for the husband.
