A devoted supporter of President Bola Tinubu from Bauchi State, Khamis Musa, has announced that he will give his September salary to support the 65th birthday project of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
The First Lady, who celebrates her 65th birthday on September 21, 2025, requested that well-wishers avoid sending gifts, cakes, flowers, or newspaper greetings. Instead, she asked that donations be made to a special account to help complete the National Library project, a cause she holds dear.
In her statement, Oluremi Tinubu said: “By God’s grace, I will be turning 65 on Sunday, 21st September 2025. I have decided to dedicate the day to God and have a quiet celebration. I appeal to anyone who wants to send birthday cards, cakes, flowers, greetings, or gifts to kindly send the money to a designated account for a project close to my heart—the completion of the National Library. That would be the best gift I could receive.”
Responding to her request, Khamis Musa described the First Lady’s initiative as a meaningful effort to support education in Nigeria. He added that the project deserves encouragement from all citizens who care about the country’s educational development.
