Adamawa police seek parents of 10-year-old boy found in Yola

The Adamawa State Police Command has asked for the public’s help to locate the parents of a 10-year-old boy named Samson James Daniel.

In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the police revealed that the boy was seen wandering around Tsohon Kasuwa in Jimeta, Yola North LGA, on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

According to the statement, a Good Samaritan noticed the child and took him to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Jimeta.

The young boy explained that he comes from Mubi. He also mentioned that his father’s name is James Daniel, while his mother is called Grace.

The police are appealing to the public to provide any useful information that can help reunite Samson with his family.

SP Nguroje also urged the parents or guardians to contact the police for assistance. They can reach the DPO Jimeta through 09032163862 or the Office of the Police Public Relations Officer on 08065604764.
