Nigerian TV host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has spoken about her struggles with depression and moments when she considered ending her life.

The former host of TVC’s Your View revealed in a recent interview with Chude that she resigned from the show after 12 years because she felt stuck in her job.

She explained that although she had long thought about leaving to pursue new opportunities, she didn’t know how to take that step until last year when things started to make sense.

Speaking on how depression affected her, Morayo said there was a point she became suicidal. According to her, she sometimes walked on the expressway, silently hoping that a car would hit her.

She further shared that during TVC’s 10th anniversary, she clearly realized it was time to move on. That moment gave her the courage to finally plan her next phase in life and career.
