A shocking video is circulating on social media showing a Lagos motorist attacking Vehicle Inspection Officials (VIO) at Mile 2.

The incident took place on Tuesday, August 26, when the VIO officials blocked a vehicle using their patrol van in the middle of a busy road.

It is still unclear why the VIO officials stopped the car. In the video, one of the people in the car took off his clothes, leaving only his underwear, and physically attacked a VIO official.

Another person in the car could be seen punching a VIO official as bystanders gathered to watch the chaos.

The Vehicle Inspection Officials have not yet commented on the incident.
