In a recent address marking Russia’s ‘Investigation Officers’ Day,’ President Vladimir Putin underscored his commitment to eliminating any efforts to divide the nation. Emphasizing the strength and loyalty of Russia’s law enforcement agencies, Putin paid tribute to the Investigative Committee and the FSB—both crucial players in the Kremlin’s ongoing crackdown.

Putin said,

“Those who try to intimidate people, to split our society, to play on religious or national feelings will never succeed.

“Inevitable and just retribution awaits them,” 

The Russian government has ramped up its efforts to control and silence critics, targeting independent media and opposition groups with increasing severity. Critics of the Kremlin are frequently accused of being Western spies or puppets, a tactic used to discredit and suppress opposition voices.
