Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda has shared her worries on Instagram about the rising costs of electricity and water in Nigeria.

In a post featuring her photo, she pointed out how natural resources like light and water, which are freely given by God, have become very expensive for citizens.

She wrote, “Lord, the light and water you created and gave us freely are now being charged at an insane rate… it’s beyond crazy.”

Monalisa also expressed concern for Nigerians living in poverty, questioning how they manage to survive amid these high costs.

She added, “How are people below the poverty line coping? How do we make it through this crisis? We just have to keep going.”
