Real Madrid reacts to death of sports journalist Manolete

Real Madrid Football Club shared their sorrow on Friday after hearing about the death of Manuel Esteban Fernández, who was widely known as Manolete.

Manolete passed away on Thursday in Madrid, Spain. He was 68 years old.

In a message on their official website, Real Madrid sent their sympathies to Manolete’s family, friends, and colleagues.

Manolete had a remarkable career in sports journalism and became one of Spain’s most well-known reporters.

Interestingly, Manolete was a devoted fan of Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid’s main rival in LaLiga.
