Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to beg for home confinement in lavish Miami mansion to skip prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly planning to ask the court to let him stay at his luxurious Miami home instead of going to prison.

According to TMZ, the music star is hoping to serve his possible sentence at his $48.5 million private island mansion, where he’s known to have hosted several controversial parties.

Diddy’s legal team, preparing for his sentencing in October, may request home confinement instead of 1 to 3 years behind bars for his recent prostitution conviction.

His top lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said the rapper wants to focus on therapy for anger and substance abuse. However, he argued that prison isn’t the right environment for recovery and healing.

Agnifilo added that they may try to convince the judge to allow Diddy to serve his sentence from home, surrounded by comfort and access to better care.

This request comes shortly after the court denied Diddy’s $50 million bail bid. He has been in federal custody since his arrest in September.

He had hoped to be released and return to his luxurious Miami mansion, which prosecutors have described as the location of wild, drug-filled parties involving escorts and his former girlfriend.

Last month, Diddy was cleared of more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges after a major trial in Manhattan federal court.

However, he was found guilty of lesser prostitution-related offenses, which still carry a sentence of up to 3 years.
