WAFCON: Benue Gov, Hyacinth Alia, rewards Super Falcons player, Francisca Ordega with N50 million, a three-bedroom flat and renames street after her

Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, hosted a special dinner on August 7 to honour Super Falcons star Francisca Mlumun Ordega. The event was organized to celebrate her achievements and role in helping Nigeria’s women’s national football team win its 10th WAFCON title.

At the dinner, Governor Alia announced a generous reward for Ordega. He gifted her N50 million and handed her the keys to a new three-bedroom flat in the state. This was in appreciation of her dedication and performance in women’s football.

As a lasting tribute, the governor also revealed that a street in Benue would be renamed in Francisca Ordega’s honour. This is to make sure her name and achievements remain remembered by generations to come.

The dinner had several guests in attendance, including famous singer 2Face Idibia, who also hails from Benue State. The event was a joyful celebration of a local hero who made her state and country proud.
