Afrobeats singer Jaywon has addressed claims that he’s taking sides in the ongoing tension between Wizkid and Davido.

Speaking in a video posted on his TikTok page, the “This Year” crooner expressed confusion over why people assume that being close to Davido means he dislikes Wizkid.

Jaywon said such assumptions don’t make sense to him and called them ridiculous. He made it clear that friendship with one artist shouldn’t automatically mean enmity with another.

He said people should stop creating unnecessary drama and let artists maintain their personal relationships without stirring conflict.
