Former Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Nelly Mbonu, has said she was the real star of the show.

According to her, only one other person matched her strong personality in the house — fellow housemate Onyeka Chigbo.

During a recent chat with Hip TV, Nelly said she had the biggest presence throughout the season.

She confidently stated, “I had the most main character energy in the BBNaija house. Onyeka was the only other person who had it too.”

Interestingly, Onyeka also spoke in a different interview and agreed with Nelly’s statement.

She said, “Nelly gave main character energy in the BBNaija house. She was solid.”

Although Nelly and Onyeka were both strong contenders, it was Kellyrae who won the BBNaija Season 9. He walked away with ₦60 million cash, a new SUV, and other prizes.

Nelly and Onyeka finished as finalists, showing that they played key roles in the success of the season.
