Transfer: Garnacho celebrates as Marcus Rashford leaves Man United

Manchester United player Alejandro Garnacho showed excitement after his teammate Marcus Rashford officially left the club.

Rashford posted about his move to Barcelona on social media, and Garnacho responded by celebrating in the comments.

Rashford has joined Barcelona on loan for one season. This is his second loan move in two years after being away from Manchester United last season too.

All paperwork for the transfer was completed, and Rashford flew to Spain last Sunday. He also passed his medical check-ups there.

Barcelona has agreed to pay Rashford’s full salary of €14 million per year, which means he will earn €7 million after tax.

To make the move happen, Rashford accepted a 15% pay cut. His new deal also gives Barcelona the option to buy him for €30 million in June 2026.

Rashford made the announcement on Instagram. Garnacho, who is also expected to leave Manchester United this summer, commented “Let’s gooo” to celebrate his friend’s move.

Garnacho is among the key players who might leave under coach Ruben Amorim this transfer window.
