Nigeria’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, is set to make a permanent move from Napoli to Galatasaray, and the Turkish club will officially announce the deal this week.
According to Turkish journalist Haluk Yürekli, Galatasaray and Napoli have agreed on the transfer, with Galatasaray paying €75 million. Out of this amount, €40 million will be paid immediately, while the remaining €35 million will be paid later in two installments backed by a bank guarantee.
Yürekli revealed that it will take about two or three more days before Galatasaray can officially confirm Osimhen’s signing.
He also mentioned that after completing the Osimhen transfer, Galatasaray will focus on signing Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson. Ederson’s agents recently met with Galatasaray official Abdullah Kavukçu in Istanbul, and all terms for his transfer have already been agreed upon.
Galatasaray are strengthening their squad ahead of the new season after winning the Turkish league title last season.
