Transfer: LaLiga could ban Barcelona from registering Rashford

Barcelona might be in trouble with LaLiga over their plan to register Marcus Rashford this summer.

Reports say that the Spanish champions have reached a deal with Manchester United to bring Rashford on a one-year loan. The agreement also includes an option to buy him permanently after the loan period.

The official announcement of Rashford’s move could happen as early as Wednesday. Many fans are excited, but there could be a big problem.

According to Sky Sports, Barcelona’s ongoing financial issues may stop them from registering Rashford to play in LaLiga. The league has strict rules about how much clubs can spend, and Barca is still struggling to meet those requirements.

Because of this, the club may have to sell or loan out some of their current players to create enough financial space for Rashford’s arrival.

This isn’t the first time Barcelona has faced this issue. Earlier in the summer, they failed to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao. The reason? They couldn’t guarantee that LaLiga would allow his registration either.

So, while Rashford’s move to Spain looks likely, it will only happen if Barcelona sorts out their finances first.
