Stop stifling the voice of well meaning Nigerians concerned about the wellbeing of the common man – Singer, Waje writes

Nigerian singer, Waje Iruobe, has spoken out against the silencing of people who care about the struggles of everyday Nigerians.

She shared her thoughts on her Instagram story on Thursday, urging people to allow others to speak up when they are genuinely trying to support the poor.

According to Waje, if those in charge do the right thing, no one will have to criticize them. She added that people only speak out when things are not working properly.

Her message was clear: “Stop stifling the voice of well-meaning Nigerians that are concerned about the well-being of the common man. If you do what you are supposed to do, nobody will call you out. Selah.”

Waje’s words reflect the frustration of many Nigerians who feel their voices are being ignored or silenced when they try to speak truthfully about the condition of the country.
