Ghana Government Invites Jude Ihenetu, Reacts To Igbo King In Ghana

A video recently went viral showing a man named Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, who claimed he wanted to start an Igbo kingdom in Ghana after allegedly buying a piece of land. In response, the Ghanaian government invited him for a meeting to clarify the issue.

Jude Ihenetu told the government that the video was from 2013, and he no longer stands by what he said in it. He admitted that he deeply regrets the interview and now understands that it was not a good idea.

He also made it clear that he did not buy any land in Ghana for such a purpose and has completely dropped the idea of starting an Igbo kingdom in the country.

Jude Ihenetu apologized to the President, the government, traditional leaders, and the people of Ghana. He said he was sorry for the confusion and trouble caused by his past comments.

The Ghanaian official who met with him reminded everyone that Ghana is known for being peaceful and friendly to people from other African countries and the African diaspora. Ghana is proud of its Pan-African spirit and will continue to welcome others warmly.

However, the government also advised that visitors and fellow Africans must follow Ghana’s laws and avoid doing or saying anything that could cause division, tension, or misunderstanding.

To keep peace between the two countries, the government is asking everyone to stay calm and peaceful. Ghana values its long-standing friendship and brotherhood with Nigeria.

Finally, the government warned that the issue should not lead to xenophobia or hateful reactions. People are encouraged to speak wisely and protect African unity.
